Public website Initial setup

Task T6.1: Setup and maintain a project website. In the early phase of the project, a public website will be set up which will be continuously maintained and updated during the lifetime of the project. In addition to project-specific information, such as a project description, public deliverables, research papers, news and announcements, it will also contain selected information from the museums which will create public awareness about the material being made accessible by the project.

Whenever possible, the website will also contain early and interim versions of deliverables and other papers and documents originating from the project to create a more dynamic, ‘living’ and thus more interesting website. Use of the project website will be monitored through the incorporation of analytical tools into the site, e.g. Google Analytics, and this information will also be incorporated into all project reports.
